Launching New Homepage 1.5
New year, new homepage! It is now possible to track where Tin has been and will be for public appearances in our “news - section”. Basically, our entire history, runtime and future will be on that page - history will literally be written! The template is Clay - one of the new Squarespace templates.
Aside from launching the new homepages, the real innovation is the “news section”, as the projects are still the same, but just been reorganised in a different way. Tin’s “news section” tries to capture the aesthetics of Se og Hør - a Scandinavian TV Guide (when people still watched linear TV) and celebrity journalism magazine. This magazine help shape Tin’s longtime hobby: gossip, through the use of deliberate headers and font type and color scheme. In the reinterpretation of this glorious aesthetics in the same period (00s - as the examples above show), Tin chose to tone down the differing font types and -sizes, but keep one of the glowing yellow colors in his iteration. Tin also chose to present his awards as how international movie festivals convey their awards, with leaves on the side. Examples are below (from the year of 2018 + past news):
