CSO Wrap-up
Two things had to be settled for the course, as CSO reaches its conclusion: The Poster Challenge and the final crit of the studio project. In this year’s challenge the students had to sell an aspect of their project with just one single poster and flesh out their 5-point deck: client, target audience, insight, strategy, idea).
ARKITEKTPRAT Episode 3

Presentation at Øyepå 2020
Tin presented, “Digital innovations in the Design field - man vs machine, who conquered who?” at ØYEPÅ 2020 - a national meeting place for discourses on visual arts. He was there to present digital logic within design and architecture.
CSO Diagram lecture 2.0
Tin returns for a second round, presenting his lecture on diagrams. It is divided in 3 parts: specific concepts, higher level of abstraction and the combination of these two into a holistic and complex message. The idea was to give the students other tools than mere text, as many of the are mainly trained in theory rather to give design proposals.
Hurtigpraksis Year Four
Tin presented, “Year Four” - yet again, the practical and ideological aspects of running an office and his origin story. The focus this year, was the individual in architecture (mennesket i arkitekturen). Sterudkvartalet, Fylkeshuset in Bergen and Horten Havn as a way to exemplify his view on the topic.
Sixth Month Hiatus
As the developers focus shifted from developing new prospects to save their own hides, this has led to scarcity of projects for a great number of architecture offices, Tin.uno being one of them. Which led to the establishing of Air Studio.
Joining a Scientific Network
Tin was appointed as the Norwegian Management Committee (MC) member of the scientific network, The Geography of New Working Spaces and the Impact on the Periphery (EU-funded scientific network).
Team Peab acquires an Airport project
Team Peab Anlegg wins 1.7 billions NOK as the contractor for a new airport in Mo i Rana. There was much emphasis on value creation across the municipal borders in Helgeland County.
OUA London Trip
The program committee visited among others Kings Cross, meeting the boss himself, Nick Searl from Argent, the esteemed Heatherwick Studios, and NLA to look at potential collaborations.
CSO Workshop
The participants of the course CityStudio Oslo were invited back to talk about its aftermath, hosted by the initiator herself, Jennifer Vallee. Of course, Tin was invited back, as he represented the teaching staff at NMBU.
