Presentation at Øyepå 2020
Tin presented, “Digital innovations in the Design field - man vs machine, who conquered who?” at ØYEPÅ 2020 - a national meeting place for discourses on visual arts. He was there to present the big picture stuff: how something as simple as a specific attitude from the 70-80s computer revolution, would shape a new contemporary digital logic in design and architecture. Creativity and arts comes in many shapes and forms - digital age is also a product of artistic license and ingenuity. What is the importance of the human touch and top-level decision making in the digital age?
ØYEPÅ 2020 was curated by Nicole Rafiki and hosted by Den Kulturelle Skolesekken (DKS), a national initiative to ensure children in school gets to experience arts and culture on a professional level. It is considered unique on a global level. Due corona measures, the presentations at ØYEPÅ was broadcast live in a studio at Nydalen (alongside any other major studio production, some might even say Nydalen is Norway’s Hollywood).
