As part of the Air+Haptic team - Tin was awarded as the runner-up (2nd) in the open international competition for a pilot neighbourhood in Hjertelia, Hønefoss. This site was the second most popular site of the entire Europan 16.

SDP405 Framing the PhD
This is a course in research design, which is the meta-design of a research project. The starting point for this course is the participant´s own research proposal. The aim of the course is to give participants a solid background for developing a research design for their PhD research.
CSO Projects lecture 1.0
Tin returns to with an entirely new lecture, devised for CityStudio on the basis of what he had seen was necessary from the last two cohorts (2019-2020). Tin presented just a handful, yet personal approaches of how to deal with the topic of “societal projects”.

Tin was tasked to hold the final motivational speech at the Urban Lab kick-off at NMBU, but did the opposite: he presented his greatest professional losses, because the defining moments in your life are not your triumphs, but your struggles.
The Fellow, The Queen, and a Three Year-Long Romance
Tin will be taking up a research fellowship on real estate and digitalisation at the Dept. of Property and Law, NMBU. His supervisors will be Knut Boge and Erling Dokk Holm.The three year long romance has nothing to do with the Queen, but a nod towards the love of research itself.
CSO Interdisciplinarity lecture series
Tin contributed with his Interdisciplinary bit alongside Professor Per Gunnar Røe, Jennifer Valleé, Erling Dokk Holm and Gro Sandkjær Hanssen. The point was to give the students different perspectives of interdisciplinarity, how it plays out in different settings.
CSO Diagram lecture 3.0
Tin returns for a third time with his diagram lecture - remastered. It is divided in 5 parts: specific concepts, abstract concepts, combined concepts, tool of persuasion, and a montage of simplicity.
Hurtigpraksis Year Five + Plot Twist
Tin was invited to present Tin.uno Year Five, yet half ways into the presentation the audience noticed he had not started presenting any projects and was never intending in doing so. Instead he presented: Air Studio - Year One.
Resigning the post at RestartOslo 2021
Tin will resign his position with the conclusion of RestartOslo 2021 at the end of August. The reasoning for Tin’s departure is due to academic pursuits - more on this later this month.

SITRAP Digitalisation of the spatial planning fields
The Center for Integrated, Transdisciplinary Education in Planning (SITRAP) was selected as one of only three centres for excellence in education in the triennial round, hosted by DIKU. founded and led by the dragon lady and professor Elin Børrud. This was done, without the assistance of Tin whatsoever.
RestartOslo is going viral
The Oslo municipality has been working on a subsidy scheme to aid the critically affected trade, catering and service industry in the city centre of Oslo. The subsidy scheme is divided between three: 1. joint projects, 2. local business-oriented activities, 3. low-threshold placemaking activities.
External Critic at AHO
Tin served as an external sensor on the self-programmed master course, “Å røre det urørte”, by Karoline Borander Holmestrand and Karen Stormoen Mykland. Their supervisor was Erling Dokk Holm.
Honorary Mention in the Sara Hildén Art Museum competition
Air Studio was awarded an honorary mention among 472 entries in the open international competition for a new art museum in Tampere, Finland. Tin & co.’s entry was noted for its courageous and imaginary wood structures as part of the modern art museum concept.
Commencing RestartOslo 2021
Tin has been hired as a business development manager at Oslo Business Region (OBR). This engagement focuses specifically on the RestartOslo 2021 initiative, a funding arrangement of almost 35 million NOK to aid local businesses.
Speaker at Østfold Eiendomsforum
Tin held his keynote, “Coworking Spaces - what are we left with?” for the executives and CEO’s of real estate of what was once called Østfold in ancient times. This presentation of course addressed the elephant in the room: the fall of the most influential coworking franchise in the world, Wework.
