MAST303 Master Thesis
Tin held the lecture, “Master thesis as in applying for your dream job”. The focus of this lecture was to convey how the structure of a thesis is transferable to professional life.
The lecture followed this structure:
Master thesis - how Tin applied different methods and approaches in writing his master thesis.
Industry examples - applied methodology in competitions, grant schemes, applications etc. A key point of this lecture: all of Tin’s industry-activities was acquired through the lessons he distilled from his master, as he never had any work experience prior to his thesis.
First publication - Tin’s first scientific publication.
MAST303 Planning the Master Thesis - Property and Law, is a 5 ECTS course which provides an introduction to important aspects of planning and conducting the master's thesis within the study programs in property management (EIE) and property development (EUTV / EUTV-DEL), including the academic requirements for a master's thesis and the relationship between research questions, theoretical frameworks, and methodological choices. Additionally, the subject imparts knowledge and skills in developing research questions, conducting literature reviews, as well as offering advice on effective work routines for completing the thesis. The objective of the subject is to develop a plan for carrying out the master's thesis.
