TfMK - Diagram

Tin held the lecture/workshop Diagram at “TfMK Tverrfaglig Masterklasse”. The session encourages participants to draw, communicate, and persuade beyond the conventions of writing. The workshop supports TfMK’s interdisciplinary framework, where students work on individual master's theses within a shared thematic focus on sustainable development, in collaboration with peers and supervisors from diverse academic backgrounds.

The outcome is a mix between those conducting a written thesis or a design project. Then there are those that looks into specific aspects of their thesis/project:

This Diagram lecture has been an ongoing exercise Tin has conducted for thousands of pupils at upper secondary schools (high schools) through tours with DKS, across multiple courses at university and as a service for researchers writing ERC applications at OsloMet.

SITRAP coordinates the groups of students and supervisors. In addition to offering an opportunity for students seeking something more, the aim of TfMP is to explore the learning outcomes of approaching the master's thesis in a different way. Each year, 10 to 15 students are selected for each theme based on their motivation. The process concludes with the production of a popular science report that summarizes the master’s theses.

The themes for 2026 are:
Hovinbyen
Oslofjorden 4.0 and 5.0.
